A Single Man 单身男子

For the past eight months, waking up has actually hurt.

Cold realization that I'm still here slowly sets in.

I was never terribly fond of waking up. 

I was never one to jump out of the bed and greet the day with a smile like Jim was. 

I used to want to punch him sometimes in the morning.

He was so happy. 

I always used to tell him that only fools greet the day with a smile, and only fools can possibly escape the simple truth that now isn't simply now. 

It's a cold reminder. One day later than yesterday, one year later than last year. 

And that sooner or later, it will come. 

He used to laugh at me and then give me a kiss on the cheek. 

It takes time for me in the morning to become George. Time to adjust what it is expected of George and how he is to behave. By the time I have dressed and put the final layer of polish...on the now slightly stiff but quite perfect George...I know fully what part I'm suppose to play.

Looking in the mirror staring back at me isn't so much a face...as the expression of a predicament.

"Just get through this goddamn day."

A bit melodramatic, I guess. 

But then again, my heart has been broken. I feel as if I am sinking, drowning...can't breathe.

台词&BGM

开头的科林叔的痛失所爱八个月后的独白，简笔描绘了这对CP的基本性格，科林的忧伤沉痛，马修生前健气愉悦的形象。台词和BGM都太美，大概是最能打动我的一种抒情方式了，慢镜头和古典乐，还有时不时的特写镜头。估计也是为什么我对反基督徒印象那么深的的原因。

卡司&表演

恩看看这卡司就觉得这片不舔不行。

还有摩尔阿姨和尼古拉斯霍尔特，还有Lee Pace。当然比较不萌他所以无所谓。(•́ .̫ •̀)

尼古拉斯在这片里干净成这样，那个眼珠子真是要把人看醉。

但要比眼里的情感还是马修古迪更苏一些，这双眼睛是自带深情，眼里有光，魂要被勾走了，实在苏！马修戏路一直是沉静的气度中富有风情，或者带着邪气，总之是非常温和而又非常丰富。

科林就不说了，绅士风和大长腿就算不喜欢也是绝逼讨厌不起来。纯种直男演Gay也能跑起来gay气十足不得不说这是腐国出产的一项天然技能吧。

人设&剧情

这样的CP，这样的情感处理，这样的人设，对，我相信了爱情。马修是轻佻快乐，健气十足，轻松包容，自信主动的。科林是傲娇毒舌，保守谨慎，偏执强迫还有小脾气难伺候的。多么棒的人设！

死亡，让人爱得更深。存在却被剥夺的爱，生死相隔的爱，一个人孤独地活着，不如赴死。在生命中最后24小时内的挣扎，计划与计划外，我一直以为不断出现的水底镜头是科林最后的溺水归宿。不如赴死，具象化仪式化，我才坚信，是的，真爱哪能move on。不如赴死。但是影片最后的处理方法是决定重生却被自己不堪重负的心带离了这个世界。有点婉转，有点宿命，生命变得沉重。

但我还是喜欢我想象中简单粗暴又激进的结局。唯有死去，才能重聚。 

镜头&叙事

有些镜头比较一般，特写镜头比较有特色，叙事却很让人心碎。

从早晨清醒开始，插了一段简短的马修逗狗，然后是科林接到死讯，海边谈天，起居室阅读拌嘴，第一次相遇。回忆多美好祥和，现实里的失去爱人就多心碎气愤。与死去相挣扎的，和摩尔阿姨的友谊，和学生的暧昧，和西班牙男子的交集，挣扎到最后，在心脏病突发中死去，在不承认自己衰老的机能衰老中死去。片尾马修亲吻死去的科林的唇角一如片头科林亲吻死去的马修唇角。
